What is a Moment?
A Moment is your shared trip workspace: the places, itinerary, people and trip details in one place. Start with an idea and add to it as you plan.
Does everyone in my group need to sign up?
Yes. Each person needs a Wayve account to join and participate in a Moment. Send them the invitation link; after signing in or creating an account, they can return to the invitation and join.
Can I start for free?
Yes, and you don’t need a card. Free lets you organize one active trip at a time; finished or cancelled trips don’t count. Invited friends join with free accounts. Plus adds unlimited trips, AI itinerary drafts, expense splitting and balances, packing lists and trip stories.
Are the web and mobile features the same?
Yes for planning together: itineraries, crew decisions, shared expenses and, when assistance is available, arrangement requests work on both. Saved offline trip details are only in the mobile app.
Does Wayve make instant bookings?
No. When arrangement assistance is available in your Moment, your request goes to the Wayve team to check options manually. You review the quote and details before confirming. Sending a request does not reserve a room, ride, guide or activity.
Does Wayve collect our expense payments?
No. Wayve records shared costs, balances and whether people have settled outside the product. It does not collect, hold or transfer the group’s money.
What can I use with weak connectivity?
The mobile app can show trip details saved from a previous successful sync. Open the trip while connected before you travel. Updates and new requests need a connection; use the web app while online.
Can Wayve’s AI change my trip by itself?
No. The assistant uses Moment context to draft suggestions. Changes to dates, places or itineraries still require your confirmation.
